Botanical walk edible and medicinal wild plants
Set off to discover the wild plants of the Mediterranean flora on a guided walk through the Jardin de Bizac.
Whatever the season, learn to recognise the edible and medicinal plants that grow in our local environment, how to identify them and how to forage for them whilst respecting nature. The route winds its way through vineyards and scrubland, introducing you to the rich Mediterranean plant heritage and its traditional uses over the centuries.
Led by Emmanuel Raoul, founder of the Jardin de Bizac and a graduate of the École des Plantes de Paris, this walk (2 hours) invites you to gain a deeper understanding of the links between plants, landscapes and local expertise.
