The Pays de Sommières is part of the "Vignobles Vidourle Camargue" destination, recently awarded the "Vignobles & Découvertes" label for the quality of its vineyards and tourism offer.
On a regional scale, this label testifies to the commitment of all stakeholders (winegrowers, accommodation providers, restaurateurs, tourist offices, etc.) to work together to develop a quality tourism offering.
Vidourle Camargue joins France's 71 "Vignobles et Découvertes" destinations.
Created in 2009, the Vignobles et Découvertes label is a national label awarded jointly by the Ministries of Agriculture and Tourism. Its aim is to promote wine tourism. It is awarded for a period of 3 years to a wine tourism destination offering a diversified and structured tourism offering. It makes it easier for customers to organize their stay, and guides them to qualified, quality services.
On a regional scale, this label testifies to the commitment of all stakeholders (winegrowers, accommodation providers, restaurateurs, tourist offices, etc.) to work together to develop a quality wine tourism offering, combining aspects of discovery (tours, visits, natural sites, know-how, museums, etc.), hospitality (winegrowers, accommodation providers, workshops, cellars, etc.) and events (festivals, exhibitions, conferences, etc.).
