Le Site des Terriers in Villevieille
In the village center, on the Terriers site, archaeological excavations carried out between 1999 and 2005 uncovered a Gallo-Roman residential area. The base of the walls of one of the houses (domus) was restored above the actual remains, using techniques and stones similar to those originally used.
The Villevieille Antique experience:
This is the immersive tour offered independently on site and outside the walls. Using your smartphone, listen to the stories of a family living in a domus during the Romanization of Gaul. Signage has also been installed on site.
