Family workshop: Make your own soap

Enjoy a creative family experience during the school holidays or at the weekend!
At Elsa’s shop in Lunel, make your own personalised soap (soda-free) and a Jesmonite soap dish together. A fun, sensory and safe activity for children aged 6 and over. With a choice of colours, scents and glitter, everyone goes home with their own creations and the satisfaction of having made something by hand. Regular workshops for adults and children, held in-store and available for private hire for birthdays and private events for up to 10 people.

How does the workshop work?

- Welcome and introduction
A chance to get to know each other and an introduction to the workshop, followed by an explanation of the objectives and steps to follow.

- Step 1: Creating your personalised soap
Introduction to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)
Soap-making using the Melt & Pour technique (no caustic soda)
Choosing the fragrance, colour and glitter
Pouring the soap into a mould
A little patience…

- Step 2: Making the Jesmonite soap dish
Mixing the ingredients and choosing the colour
Pouring the mixture into the mould
A little patience…

- Finishing touches and admiring the creations
Removing the soap from the mould
Removing the soap dish from the mould, sanding and varnishing to make it even more beautiful!
