Guided tour of the Sommières castle

A guided tour of the château is organized to discover the rich history of this thousand-year-old site.

The château, which became a royal fortress under Louis IX (Saint-Louis), has undergone numerous transformations over the centuries.
Visitors can tour the courtyard, the chapel transformed into a prison for Protestants, and the Tour Bermond.
A must-see: its exceptional panorama and the defensive architecture of this military stronghold.
