Sommières and its History - SSH

Historical research on Sommières and the surrounding area. Promotion of local history.

Sommières' history is the subject of ongoing research by local historians, grouped together in the Sommières et Son Histoire (SSH) association. Founded in 1984, the association has been carrying out extensive historical research on Sommières and the surrounding area for the past 40 years, drawing on the town's rich archives and documents relating to local history and the heritage of the towns of Sommières and its canton. It publishes an annual bulletin containing articles written by researchers. To date, there are 30 bulletins in the collection.
