THINGS TO KNOW
The Ruisseau des Corbières is a tributary of the Vidourle whose flow is not constant. Built in the late 15th century, a hydraulic cereal mill was powered
fed by water from a 3,400 m³ reservoir. The mill was filled by means of a bypass canal and an upstream intake on the Corbières stream. In this way, the water in the basin fed the mill wheel during periods of low water level. Since 2004, the association Traces et Mémoire de Junas
has been working to enhance the value of the Corbières mill.
