WHAT TO KNOW :
This path guides you through the garrigue to beautiful panoramas and the Bois de Paris cave. Excavated by the infiltration of rainwater, the cave served as a shelter for charcoal burners until the 1950s. In the past, the Bois was heavily exploited (crops, sheep, charcoal-making) and trees were rare. Since the disappearance or decline of these activities, scrubland and holm oak coppice have returned. There's also a longer trail, "Le Bois de Paris", part of which follows the loop shown here.
