Les Vignerons du Sommiérois
Since 1923, the Vignerons du Sommiérois have brought together men and women determined to work together to keep a corner of France alive. Located between Nîmes and Montpellier, the cooperative winery brings together winegrowers from seven municipalities — Sommières, Salinelles, Aspères, Campagne, Garrigues, Lecques and Fontanès — united by the same idea: to produce good wine together and bring their region to life.
Here, nothing is left to chance. Each plot is monitored and each vintage is discussed collectively. The work is done on a human scale, with respect for the land and the seasons. Part of the vineyard is farmed organically, the rest using sustainable agriculture, always with the same requirement: to make wine fairly, without cheating.
The wines reflect this land of scrubland and limestone: honest, balanced vintages, just like the people who make them.
