Les Terrasses du Vidourle
Vines have been cultivated in our region for centuries. It wasn't until 1938 that our winegrowers created the Villevieille cooperative winery.
Originally, the cooperative members vinified their grapes together, then recovered their respective production to sell it themselves.
Since then, things have evolved considerably. In 1950, the winery was enlarged for the first time, and then the winegrowers joined forces to respond to the growing number of members and changing market conditions.
In 2002, a first agreement was signed with producers from the Junas cooperative, and in 2006, with those from St Clément-Gailhan, giving birth to our current structure, "Les Terrasses du Vidourle", which brings together six communes: Aujargues, Junas, Villevieille, St Clément, Gailhan and Carnas.
