Les Murets - VTT-FFC

Start: Vaunage Passion Vélos, opposite the college.

The route leads towards Congénies along the path that runs along the bottom of the Roc de Gachonne hill. Passages through undergrowth reveal the small dry-stone constructions built over the centuries by the villagers: low walls, capitelles, Mazet...

Halfway along the trail, you'll come across Mr. Lebrun's incredible Mazet and its collection of improbable sculptures. On the way back, at Cante Perdrix, you pass by the Neolithic site of Canteperdrix, while on the last hill before descending to Calvisson, you can see the foundations of an ancient fortified castle, known as the château de Guillaume de Nogaret.
