HIGHLIGHTS
La Pierre plantée, a menhir dating back to 2,500 BC, bears witness to the presence of man since prehistoric times. The true purpose of these monuments is still unknown. Situated at a small pass, at the crossroads of ancient paths frequented in prehistory, Antiquity and the Middle Ages, it may have served over the centuries as a milestone and landmark. It is hollowed out with cup-shaped holes and small crosses.
