La Manade - Mountain biking
Start: Vaunage Passion Vélos, opposite the college.
The route begins on the voie verte, then skirts the bottom of the Roc de Gachone hill. It branches off to the right and, from espalier tree to espalier tree, soon follows the pastures of a manade where you can see the herd of black Camargue bulls in peaceful surroundings.
You'll also enjoy some fine views as you cross the Puech des Buis massif. The plain leading back to Calvisson is a restful place to rest your legs before tackling the final climb to the mills on the Gachone rock.
