Itinerary :
Leave Parignargues at the wash-house parking lot.
Head towards Mas des Crottes, passing through Mairie, le Temple, Chemin des Jardins, Chemin de la Saoù and Les Suèges.
From Mas des Crottes, return to Parignargues via Font Crose, Chemin de la Saoù, Chemin des Jardins, Le Temple and Mairie.

As far back as Roman times, the salt roads enabled salt to be transported from the Mediterranean coast to the mountain regions where there was none. These trade routes played a strategic role, as salt was also a currency of exchange. Indispensable for food preservation and tanneries, salt was a key factor in the development of regions such as Rouergue.
