La Biscuiterie Artisanale de Sommières
François, a talented pastry chef, chocolatier and chef, invites you to discover his artisan biscuit shop, which opened in Sommières in 2016. Since 10 July 2023, his shop has been offering a selection of fresh and dry biscuits, carefully made from healthy, organic, local and French ingredients.
Passionate about taste and quality, François is regularly recognised for his exceptional expertise. In his welcoming shop, you can enjoy a wide variety of delicacies, from cookies and financiers to moelleux and almond tuiles, not to mention the famous Sommières travel cake, the ‘Vidourlin’.
The biscuit factory has a friendly atmosphere, and you can enjoy a good coffee from a local roaster, as well as teas and hot chocolates, while sitting on the terrace.
The biscuit factory has been honoured with two medals: Gold for the ‘Vidourlin Coeur d'abricots du Gard’ in 2026 and Bronze for the ‘Organic gluten-free cookie with Provence almonds and dark chocolate chips’ at the 2025 Gard Gourmand Competition.
