Library
The Congénies library is part of the "Médiathèque du pays de Sommières" network. This network comprises 11 communes (Aujargues, Calvisson, Combas, Congénies, Junas, Lecques, Montmirat, Montpezat, Sommières, Souvignargues, Villevieille).
Registration is free and valid for 1 year.
A magnetic card is issued to each member, who can borrow a choice of 7 books, 3 magazines, 1 DVD and 5 CDs for a 3-week period.
Our team of 9 volunteers offers classic and contemporary novels, detective stories and fiction, as well as adult and children's comics. Biographies, adult and children's documentaries, children's albums and children's books are also available. We also have books in English (around fifteen) and Spanish (2).

Opening hours on Wednesday between 4 pm and 6.30 pm. On Saturday between 10 am and 11.30 am.
Summer hours: Wednesdays from 5:00 pm to 6:30 pm.
