Coucou walk

Take a walk along a path dotted with dry-stone capitelles, lovingly restored by volunteers from the Apromicav association, and enjoy a breathtaking panoramic view over the Vaunage.

Leaving Calvisson Plaisance, follow signs for Lavoir Florent, then Mazet de Guiraud. Then follow Chemin Font de Coucou, then Ournèzes.
From here, follow La Queyrolle, Balcon de la Liquière and return to La Queyrolle via Jalo. Return to Calvisson via Ournèzes, Maupas and Mazet de Guiraud.

GOOD TO KNOW :
Between the 16th and 19th centuries, capitelles or huts were dry-stone constructions generally built on the boundaries of land farmed by poor peasants. By spiking their plots, they built enclosure walls and sometimes a shelter for their seeds, tools, draught animals and themselves.
